Pocket Full Of Sunshine

Sunday, March 30, 2014

Anything Goes this week for the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge. Anything? Yes, Anything! We want to see your creations! This week, I played with the Crafty Cutts Slider Box Die and created an imaginary world where the weather is always wacky.  Although lately, that could be just about anywhere!
All of the papers and embellishments came from the Hero Arts Fresh Cut line. loved adding the weather tidbits and transparencies in the tiny space. It's little enough to be tucked in a pocket. Yes, a Pocket Full of Sunshine.
[Chorus]
Take me away (take me away)
A secret place (a secret place)
A sweet escape (a sweet escape)
Take me away (take me away)
Take me away (take me away
To better days (to better days)
Take me away (take me away)
A hiding place (a hiding place)

Now that I've got that song stuck in your head, I want to see what you've been creating.  Link your project to the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge  blog for the Anything Goes challenge this week and you could win a $50 voucher to Simon Says Stamp.  We give away one each week to a random participant. We also choose a few outstanding pieces to be featured in our designer spotlight.

  12. Michelle, Michelle! You never cease to impress me with your creativity! I love this project and the wacky almost-Andy-Warhol vibe it has (that's meant to be a compliment-- just in case you hate Andy Warhol). I think it's great that you went so imaginary with the concept, yet kept it easy to relate to. In fact, we had pea-sized hail, sunshine, wind, then hail again in a matter of hours the other day, so I totally see the truth...and whimsicality in this fabulous piece!
