Ticket Please: A Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge

Happy Monday! This week the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge is "Tickets, Please!." My teammate Sandra came up with this challenge theme. Isn't she clever? I looked through my stash and found lots and lots of tickets. American Crafts usually includes a ticket or two in their ephemera packs (which I love!) and I have several ticket stamps as well. So you probably do too!

But after all of that ticket sorting, I chose to cut a ticket with a Lawn Fawn die. Sounds crazy, doesn't it? Yes, I needed yet another ticket because I was so excited to discover that the sentiment stamp fit in there PERFECTLY! A happy coincidence. I love those!
The card is an odd size because I liked that the background words are large, but aren't too prominent. I found the brass dog on a junkin' trip and he followed me home and photobombed the card.:)
Tickets Please! Link your project to the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge and you could receive a $50 gift voucher to Simon Says Stamp. We draw a new winner each week. Your project could also be chosen to be in our designer spotlight.

  1. I love the dog - and the card! I love that you had other things in mind and ended up with this - great project! As always, the stories behind your projects delight me almost as much as the projects themselves. Keep on rockin!

  11. Ah, Michelle! You are the sole reason my "to buy" list gets so huge! I see how you use things and I get so inspired and want to copy-cat you all the time! They say imitation is the greatest sign of respect, right? :) But this card really is cool and I love how you connected all of those different fonts so skillfully. Love that picture you used on it and loved the addition of the brass dog! He's welcome to photo bomb anytime in my opinion! You've always had a clever eye for photographing your pieces as well as making them, so kudos to a great post and pictures all the way around.
