Eileen Hull Art With Heart: Sizzix Stitchlits

Long before I discovered paper and ink, I was a quilter. I loved hand quilting and made numerous quilts and quilted decorative items. And then I developed arthritis and all of that changed. It hurt too much to push the needle through the fabric. Recently, Eileen Hull came out with a line of dies that create premade holes. I LOVE these!

The pre-punched holes makes sewing a breeze! They remind me of the lacing cards that we used as children. Yesterday I used the dies to create an acorn. Today, I made some fun little hair clips.

As you know, each month I participate in the Art With Heart Challenge with Eileen Hull. This month, the theme is "A Stitch in Time".
Since the dies cut perfectly each time, I can cover the threads on the back to create a piece that looks polished and professional.

Link your project fun and take the Art with Heart Challenge! Each month, Eileen offers a generous prize. This month, it's a set of Stitchlits.

We want this to be a place for everyone to create, inspire and share.  We would love to see what you can do with Eileen Hull’s fabulous products but this is not a requirement.  Use what ever products your artful “heart” desires.  Art is for everyone so come along and share your Art with Heart!

We want you all to create freely there are no rules here, just a few simple guidelines…

1.Create a new project following the Art with Heart Challenge Theme (however you interpret the theme) OR if you have created something that fits the theme previously create a new post with a photo and link to the original post.
2.Include a link to the current Art with Heart Challenge in your post so others can play along too!
3.When linking up your project please include a direct link to your post.
4.You are not required to use Eileen Hull Products in your projects.  However, those who do use Eileen Hull products will be given two entries into the prize draw.

  1. I love that you turned the beautiful flowers into hair clips Michelle, they look fabulous. I share your love of sewing and quilting which has been similarly curtailed by the dreaded arthritis - but you are right, Eileen's dies are wonderful and so easy to use. Hugs, Anne xx
