I have never used an art journal before, so I was thrilled to receive a Dyan Reavely journal in the kit. I'm not much of a journal-er, but I'm planning on using it as a "play book" to try out new products and techniques. For instance, I discovered that the Claudine Hellmuth Altered Orange paint looks fabulous with the new BasicGrey Persimmon papers. The paint comes in the kit!
And for every kit purchased during STAMPtember® Simon Says Stamp is including two complimentary Indigoblu cling stamps! No two kits will be alike, it’s a total surprise as to which stamps you will get.
The center of the flowers was created by using a portion of the waxed paper bag that the embellishments came in. The rest of the little bag was used to create this vintage inspired treat bag. (Because grown-ups like treats too!) I love those white Kelly Purkey labels that came in the kit.
Don't journal? Yeah....I didn't journal much either, but the kit makes it easy to start. :)
This is the end of the hop, so now you can head back towards the store.
Simon Says Stamp was founded in 2002 with an interest in exclusively selling rubber stamps. It didn’t take long until we realized we couldn’t stop there. During the past 11 years we celebrate rubber stamping in its full glory by giving access to people around the world to a one stop shop. Rubber stamps still remain the heart of our business and we are celebrating by hosting a STAMPtember® event intended to inspire, educate, and celebrate the greatness of rubber stamping. Part of the enticement of rubber stamping is that stamps can be used in creating or complementing ANYTHING! From stamping dates on bank documents and postage parcels in the early 18th century, rubber stamping has dramatically expanded to include card making, scrapbooking, mixed media, life documenting, art journaling, and many forms of altering and expressing art.
Each week a $50 gift voucher is awarded to a random participant in the Simon Says Stamp Monday challenge. This weeks challenge is to use any "Simon Exclusive" item. This included stamps, stencils and dies. Your project could also be chosen to be featured in our designer spotlight!

Michelle! One thing I love about your artwork is that there is always a feeling incorporated into it. I was touched by the sentiment and picture on the "You're My Everything" piece and it was yet another example of how I see your heart shining through your projects. Truly inspirational.
