At Eileen Hull's Art With Heart, our theme this month is “Red, White and Beautiful!”! Are you feeling patriotic? Or do you have another “Red, White and Beautiful!” idea?
For my project, I used Eileen Hull's Box, Candy Drawer Die.
Don't let the name, "Candy Drawer" fool you....it can hold so much more than candy! I used mine to create a fun place to hold some of my vintage postal ephemera. I love old papers and I love mixing them with newer items too!
Join in the fun!
Michelle I especially love this project because I collect stamps. You have a great combo of elements and so graphic. Where did you get that rwb twine? Very cool...
ReplyDeleteI love this box! Great idea for decorating patriotic! The postal element is so nice.

This box is fabulous! I've really enjoyed seeing all of your creations for this DT because your boxes are always so out of the box (ha, ha). I like how even though die cuts are standard, you constantly make your projects so unique and so YOU. I love that about your art and this box is another perfect example of that!

Red white and blue are must have's for anything postal and the string wrapping is an excellent touch along with such interesting ephemera. This will be the perfect place for all your postage pieces and you'll always know what's inside! I linked up with the Art Heart challenge, thanks for the invite.
ReplyDeleteYou nailed it !! Gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteI love this box!! I don't think my stamp collection would fit in it though lol. =)
