At
Counterfeit Kit Challenge they are talking about creating their own paper
collection out of things that they already have. You know, those collections with co-ordinating paper and embellishments that we all have to have? I am guilty of wanting the
BoBunny Snow Day collection. But even though I want it, I am not going to buy it. Why? Because I live in Arkansas now where we seldom see snow. So as November progresses Counterfeit Kit Club is posting tutorials for making your own paper and embellishments. Cool, huh? I thought so. So I took
this:
And I made my own patterned paper!
AND I am having a blast! Which is why I jumped the gun and posted this before I finished my collection. Because I KNOW that I will be making more! My papers are hardly perfect and are a little wonky and my lines aren't straight, but I just went with it and thought maybe it'd come off as whimsical. If you want to make your own papers, go
here and check out the great tutorial Bethany posted. She made the cutest hat paper!
Making your own paper is great for frugal scrapping. Beautiful!
