Holiday Countdown

The Holiday Countdown has begun!  The team at The Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge blog wants to know how you countdown the days.
My favorite part of the Holiday season is the day that my grown children are all home together.  I created these little stamped and numbered houses to help countdown the days.  It wasn't a difficult project.  All of the papers came from the new My Mind's Eye Heirloom collection.  This paper is actually designed as a Valentines Day collection.  I LOVE it when my paper's can do double-duty and can be used for more than one project.
The little bases are made from using the Martha Stewart Crafter's Clay.  This lightweight clay is as easy as using Play-doh and it air dries overnight.  Don't make the bases too small.  Since it's lightweight, if they're made too small, they'll easily fall over.  Mine are a tad larger than a sugar cube.

Need some more inspiration?  Check out the projects that other design team members have created at The Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Blog.  Don't forget to link up your project for a chance to win a $50 gift voucher to the Simon Says Stamp store.  Your project could be featured in our designer spotlight.  Happy Stamping!
