Paper and Paste

This week we are challenging everyone to use Paste for the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge. For my project, I created a Thank You card loaded with textural elements. I used gold embossing paste from Wendy Vecchi to create a stenciled background. Before the paste dried, I sprinkled on Antique Linen Distress Glitter to add even more texture and shine to the paste.  I love how well the two products coordinate. It's as if they were meant for each other.

Speaking of products that work well together...check out the way those Paper Artsy stamps fit in the Avery Elle pinked die shapes.  Perfect! What a wonderful discovery. I love that! 
I am so thankful that Simon Says Stamp carries a wide variety of products from different manufacturers. Remember Hannibal Smith from the "A Team"? He would say, "I love it when a plan comes together."

    Drop dead gorgeous! I love all the sparkle and flair! the texture is astounding. Gold happens to be my favie-fave color of the moment too. :) Tell me more about how the stencil, you just versamarked and used the gold powder? Va-va-voom!

    The added sparkle over the gold paste looks just amazing - wow! What a fabulous card altogether. And I was just thinking a couple of days ago about trying to track down some A-Team clips on youtube, and here you are with one for me right here in Craftyblogland!!

    Oh my goodness! Sparkly blingy paste AND an A-Team reference? I'm pretty sure that this post just hit paradise level!
