I believe in family dinners. At our house, the meals are relaxed, casual, and fun. Shouldn't the table reflect that mood?
These place cards were super-easy to make. The spoon was stamped, lightly colored and fussy-cut. Since the spoon image is fairly symmetrical, I stamped two spoons for each card and placed them back-to-back so they can be seen from all directions. The bases are old children's blocks that I found at an antique store. Since they were in rough shape, I got them fairly cheap. They also sell new wood letter blocks at the dollar store. I'm certain that with a bit of sanding and inking, you could create a similar look with the new, dollar-store blocks.
