I used a stencil and embossing paste to get this wonderful texture. It too, was painted with watercolors.
I love those metal stars. They have have some real heft to them.

I also thought your watercolor-stamping turned out beautifully! Nice to hear that even artists like you, whom I admire, have to practice techniques sometimes!
