Ombre Challenge

It's Monday! Which means that there's another challenge for you at the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Blog.

This week the challenge is to create something using the Ombre technique.

Ombre is one color fades into another. It's a trend that's apparent in fashion and design. I have never created anything ombre prior to this. But like they say....there's a first time for everything! I dusted off my journal and played with the colors. And I was really surprised at how much fun I had!
The flowers were stamped with Altenew stamps on Neenah cardstock and cut out.

What can you do with Ombre? Link your project to the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge and you could receive a $50 gift voucher to Simon Says Stamp. We draw a new winner each week. Your project could be chosen for our designer spotlight!

  14. What an absolutely great project! Your pieces always make me think back to happy days. I think I would've liked living in the 40's or 50's (just in terms of art and fashion) and I love how your work keeps that cool retro vibe alive. The quote on this is a keeper!
