Thinking of You Heartfelt Pocket

Just in time for May Flowers! My Flower Pocket was designed to hold a gift...or be the gift!

Eileen Hull's new Heartfelt collection includes a new patterned paper pad. This Sizzix Heartfelt Paper Pad has 24 double sided sheets sized perfectly to run through the Sizzix machines. The patterns and motifs align with both the new and existing Sizzix dies and can be used in a variety of ways.

I embellished my Flower Pocket with a crepe paper rosette made with a new die set called Stitchy Flowers and Leaf. You'll be seeing more of these dies because it's my new favorite set!! I colored the die cut with Clearsnap ColorBox Ink Blends in Tutu. This pretty Spring color really sparkles with the added fine glitter.

The rosette was made with a white, heavy florists crepe.

After the rosette was completed and the flower had dried completely, I layered them on the papered Flower Pocket.

A few finishing touches, such as vintage ric-rac and a sentiment from the paper pad, and I have a fun, new project with the Flower Pocket Die!
