Paper Flowers: Distant Drum Roses

Paper Flowers hold a special place in my heart, and making these was pure delight.
Once again, I find myself behind in my blogging. I've been crafting up a storm lately and have so many things to share! Such as these luscious paper flowers! I made these Distant Drum flowers with the help of a class by Jessie Chui at Crafted to Bloom.
The secret to making realistic paper flower is to use the best paper that you can find. I prefer using papers from Lia Griffith. Her Double Sided Crepe is divine! Distant Drum Roses have such unique coloring. I was able to create some of the shading with my Pan Pastels, which can also be found at Lia Griffith.

I have more paper flowers to share in upcoming posts. Don't forget to subscribe to my blog so that you don't miss them! Thanks for visiting today!
