Shells & Shakers with Carta Bella Deep Blue Sea

Hello! I hope you're enjoying your Summer and having fun in the sun! Today I would like to share a few summer beach projects made with the Carta Bella Deep Blue Sea Collection.

I made several treat boxes as well as a fun shaker card. To make the boxes, I used the Echo Park Paper Gable Box Die (you can find it here with this affiliate link) and made half of a rosette to attach to the handle. I used some of the many stripes in the collection, because I think it made the rosette halves look like little paper shells. I made one "shell" for each side and sandwiched them with the handle between.
I love how they turned out! I think that I like the one with the whale the best. Those whales are adorable!
I finished the boxes with Deep Blue Sea ephemera and little string tassels. You can read more about the boxes on this Echo Park Paper Blog post.

To complement the treat boxes, I made a fun shaker card. This was also made with elements from the Carta Bella Deep Blue Sea Collection. I made a simple shaker circle and topped it with a die cut from the collection.
You can read more about the shaker card on this blog post. Soon there will be a downloadable PDF tutorial as well. You should be able to find it on their Project Download Page.
Both were super fun little projects that were easy to make and didn't take very long to construct. I hope that you like them and that they've inspired you to create something new!
Enjoy your Summer and have a great day!
