DIY Paper Birds Nest with Mixed Media Easter Eggs
I love Spring. Green grass, fresh flowers, and chocolate rabbits are the best way to chase away the Winter blues. This is also the time of year when bird nests will appear in unexpected places.

I Scream...A Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge
It's a brand-new week, which means there's a brand-new Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge!
This week we are continuing our alphabet challenges by urging you to create something inspired by the letter, "I."
This week we are continuing our alphabet challenges by urging you to create something inspired by the letter, "I."
I had an "I" scream going on this week. My first project was a complete and utter fail. It happens to all of us, right? So I threw it away and started fresh in my art journal with some stamped papers.
Create with the letter, "I" and link your project to the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Blog. Your project could win a $50 gift voucher to Simon Says Stamp. We draw a new winner each week. Your project could also be chosen to be featured in our weekly designer spotlight.

A Simon Exclusive Challenge
Happy Monday! This week, the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge is to use one of Simon's exclusive products. I used the Kite Shaker Die to create some fun mixed media tags.
Except...I didn't want to make a kite. I've been all about shapes recently, so I wanted to use the lines and angles as mixed media elements.
Link your project using any Simon exclusive item to the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Blog and your project could win a $50 gift voucher to Simon Says Stamp We draw a new winner each week. Your project could also be chosen to be featured in our weekly designer spotlight.

Eileen Hull Stampendous Blog Hop
We're having a Block Party!
Eileen Hull's Inspiration Team has teamed up with Stampendous to share inspiration as well as prizes.
It's a Block Party!
For my project, I created a set of Boho-inspired mixed media blocks that will be perfect for home decor. I used a beautiful Stampendous Floral stamp and my favorite Sizzix blocks die.
I stamped the floral image on vellum, embossed it, and colored it with pencils. The soft color gave the flower a lovely translucent quality that I found magical. The stamp was larger than the blocks, so I used just a portion of the image on each side. Love that look!
We know this form of crafting will spark your interest and give your mojo a serious boost! That’s why we have prizes!!! We’ll choose three winners at random from the comments on all blogs in the hop. Then from those three we’ll randomly pick a GRAND PRIZE winner! Two of the winners will receive Stampendous PenPattern Petal and PenPattern Flutter cling stamps, just like you’ll see on Kristine Reynolds amazing ATB sample. They’ll also receive enough pre-cut, premium matboard from Sizzix to make two boxes of your own, plus some extra pieces for fiddly bits! The Grand Prize winner will receive the stamps as above, a whole package of matboard, AND the Sizzix die to cut your own ATB boxes! Uh, WOW! If that weren’t enough, eligibility for these amazing prize packages has expanded to include our international fans too!
We know you won’t want to miss a single creation in this hop, and the Eileen Hull Designs Inspiration Team has several members that live outside the United States, so it took a while for them to get their products from us. We need to give them time to post and you time to comment, so the comment deadline will be Sunday, March 8th. A whole extra week! We will continue posting links as we receive them from the Inspiration Team, so be sure to keep checking back. You get one entry for every comment, so you don’t want to miss the chance to leave a thoughtful comment on each project. For those who tend to get lost, we’ll post a “cumulative” link list of links so far on Saturday, February 28th and Saturday, March 7th. Then you can check your progress.
Today's Hop will take you to some very talented designers!

mixed media scrapbook photo journal page
Is it a scrapbook page? An art journal? Mixed media? Yes. Yes. And yes.
I combined Rubber Stamps, Masks, Pastels, Ink and Acrylics to make a mixed media scrapbook photo journal page. There's layers of fun going on here!
