Glittered Winter Blossoms

Have nothing in your houses that you do not know to be useful or believe to be beautiful.”
William Morris
This week, I designed some Winter Blossoms adorned with glittery charm and cheer.  After Christmas, it's always so sad to pack up the glittery holiday decorations. The sparkle and shine is so cheery and fun and I am always sad to see it go away. I've had several blog posts recently loaded with glitter and I'm not ready to stop!  Who says the season of sparkle must end?  I'm ready to ring in the New Year with the dazzle and shine of glitter. The design team at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge has several Glittery ideas to share this week.  We want to inspire you to create your own glittery creations.

The rosettes were made with the Tim Holtz die.  I added some Martha paper tape before they were assembled.  The tape provided extra durability as well as a fun two-tone color. Once the rosettes were assembled, each one was coated in diamond dust glitter to give them a vintage look.  Colored glitter was added to the edges.
The metallic dots and silver wire accents add an extra layer of interest.

These were so much fun to make.  I adore using glitter.  This week the design team at Simon Says Stamp Monday challenge has some wonderful glittery projects to share with you.
Surround yourself with things that you love and have a Happy New Year!
