All of the papers and embellishments came from the Hero Arts Fresh Cut line. loved adding the weather tidbits and transparencies in the tiny space. It's little enough to be tucked in a pocket. Yes, a Pocket Full of Sunshine.
[Chorus]
Take me away (take me away)
A secret place (a secret place)
A sweet escape (a sweet escape)
Take me away (take me away)
Take me away (take me away
To better days (to better days)
Take me away (take me away)
A hiding place (a hiding place)

Michelle this made me smile too :) Such a fun and quirky piece!! thanks for the loely comment on my 'Stuck?' page - it made my day :)
ReplyDeleteMichelle, Michelle! You never cease to impress me with your creativity! I love this project and the wacky almost-Andy-Warhol vibe it has (that's meant to be a compliment-- just in case you hate Andy Warhol). I think it's great that you went so imaginary with the concept, yet kept it easy to relate to. In fact, we had pea-sized hail, sunshine, wind, then hail again in a matter of hours the other day, so I totally see the truth...and whimsicality in this fabulous piece!
ReplyDeleteOriginal project as always! I love the transparency in this work and i love your extraordinary creativity! BARbarayaya
