The theme this week for the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge is the Good-ol-Days. I know some awesome women who, in my opinion, deserve a medal. I'm certain that you do too.
As soon as I opened the Sizzix Labels package and saw the little "shields", I knew what I wanted to make. I wanted to make my own sparkling medals! With a Sizzix Labels die, a few bottlecaps, and Simon Says Stamp exclusive sentiments, these came together quickly. A pin attached to the back made these instantly wearable.
Take a stroll down Memory Lane and create something inspired by the Good ol' Days. Link your project to the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Blog and your project could win a $50 gift voucher to Simon Says Stamp. We draw a new winner each week. Your project could also be chosen to be featured in our weekly designer spotlight, which is just as good as receiving a medal. :)

Great use of the shield ... that is indeed the perfect shape to use as a medal holder! That vintage looking glitter looks amazing! Great idea with the bottle cap too : )

LOVE these so much! Honestly-- these are among my favorites of your creations thus far (but then again, I think I say that every week). You are so skilled with the glitter! You always make things classy and modern at the same time. And I'm such a fan of the way you preserve history with such style! A really cool concept that turned out beautifully.
