Happy Monday! I am starting to feel the "Holiday Crunch." I know that I don't have time for everything on my to-do list, but I still have time for a bit of "Holly Jolly Stamping!" for this week's Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge.
This week we are have a "Holly Jolly Stamping" Challenge.
Every year I have a huge list of projects that I'd like to complete before Christmas, and this year is no exception. I've been very ill the past few months and that has made it even harder to get things accomplished. But I have made time to complete some smaller projects like tags.
We have a "peek-er" in our family, (cough-Benn-cough) so when I saw this stamp, I new that I'd have to make some tags. The tags are made from old book pages and the mittens are cut by hand. The silver foliage is actually the negative space from the leaves in the Maggie Holmes dies.
No peeking!!
Your project could also be chosen for our designer spotlight. It's nice to get some recognition.
You deserve it!
Sooooooo fun! I would totally pick that last one!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteLove everything about this, Michelle! The glitter are just the perfect touches in this! Wish you a happiest Christmas season!

I need a few of these tags as we have a few sneaky people in our house too! Adorable tag and love the upcycled leaves from the leftovers!
ReplyDeleteSuch a fun tag - love the third choice! It's cute how you made it into a mitten. Michelle, so sorry to hear you have been sick these past few months, hope you are on the upswing and getting better. Hugs!!
ReplyDeleteSuch a beautiful creation! Love the fun sentiment! :)
ReplyDeleteFun tag! love the colors and the sparkle! Barbarayaya
ReplyDeleteThis is so flippin' cute, Michelle! I love how you're always so innovative in your ideas. The color palette is dreamy and I thought it was so clever of you to use layers of rectangles to make the mitten cuff. Dig those curly-cues at the bottom and thought it was brilliant to use the negative die leftovers for the foliage. I'm so sorry you've been ill and hope this season brings you some time to recover. The good news is that you are still totally incredible with your creations even if you aren't feeling well!
ReplyDeleteYour work always impresses me and I LOVE this ~ it's just soooo cute and so adorable! Sending love and hope you feel better soon! <3
ReplyDeleteHow fun! Love the sentiment and the mitten is wonderful.
ReplyDeleteSuch a cute mitten, Michelle. So sorry that you've been ill. Hope you'll feel better soon. Hugs, Sandra
ReplyDeleteSuch a sweet little mitten - and I'm glad to hear it will be put to good use to try to stop the peeper!
ReplyDeleteI'm so sorry to hear you've not been well... I hope you'll still be able to enjoy a peaceful and joyful festive season.
