The Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge this week is "All scratched up..."
Scratches can be bad for furniture, but they can be fabulous when you're creating! From rubbing with steel wool to sandpaper, giving an aged look with a brown ink pad to crumpling and then flattening back out some paper, or even using a scratched up looking stamp – this week we challenge you to embrace imperfection and get grungy.
This week, I used vintage photos in a "Pocket Scrapbooking" style of layout. I embraced the scratches and imperfections photos and enhanced the scratches with stamps from Paper Artsy by Ellen Vargo. I love these stamps. To me, they look even better when I do second-generation stamping. A really cool effect!
