The Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge this week is "All scratched up..."
Scratches can be bad for furniture, but they can be fabulous when you're creating! From rubbing with steel wool to sandpaper, giving an aged look with a brown ink pad to crumpling and then flattening back out some paper, or even using a scratched up looking stamp – this week we challenge you to embrace imperfection and get grungy.
This week, I used vintage photos in a "Pocket Scrapbooking" style of layout. I embraced the scratches and imperfections photos and enhanced the scratches with stamps from Paper Artsy by Ellen Vargo. I love these stamps. To me, they look even better when I do second-generation stamping. A really cool effect!
Love those scratches!
Get creative and embrace imperfection! Join us this week at the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Blog and your project could win a $50 gift voucher to Simon Says Stamp. We draw a new winner each week. Your project could also be chosen to be featured in our weekly designer spotlight.
