Buttons and Book Pages; A Simon Says Stamp Challenge
Happy Monday!
This week, the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge is to be inspired by the letter "B." The letter challenges happen to be my favorites, so I was excited about this one.. :) Basic Grey, Brushes, Birthday, Blue, Burlap, Blossoms...the possibilities are endless. I created a Brown Gift Bag trimmed with Buttons.
I made this with a minimal amount of supplies. The background paper was originally a page from an old book, and I have a collection of vintage Mother of Pearl buttons that I used for the package trim.
The stamped sentiment is beautiful enough to become a focal image for this Gift Bag. Embossing makes the bold sentiment shine. Inside, the bag is a little gift to make someone's day brighter.

Ha, ha! LOVED both this project and your post! I totally forgot about those alphabet beetles on Sesame Street. That was a fun blast from the past. I didn't understand all the Beatles tie-in's back then, but it was hilarious to see now. Great thing to include in the post! And wow- I do adore pretty packaging and you certainly nailed it on this one. You have such a great way of preserving and enhancing the past with your art because it often includes so many great retro elements. Well done!
